What can I say about this movie in so little time? First off, I love it! This is my favorite Marvel movie since Captain Marvel, and I've rewatched it at least 10 times. I especially love the relationship between Carol, Kamala, and Monica as well as the hinted romance between Carol and Valkyrie.

You don't have to know anything about these two besides who they are to each other in the movie, but I'll add a little blurb here: Carol is an isolated space hero with a heart of gold and a past that haunts her while Brunnhilde is a space warrior that drinks to cope with her past and once hung out on a trash planet because she thought of herself as trash. They're messy, chaotic, and canonically friends. Best friends, even- and with that little kiss on a cheek, my Valcarol heart went wild.

I will be so excited for anything Valcarol related whether silly, goofy, or serious. Maybe Valkyrie tags along with The Marvels as they go save the world. Maybe something happens post-canon and they reconnect once again. Does Kamala ship it? What does Monica think of their relationship? Where do all the Flerken kittens end up? New Asgard maybe??? Or Aladna??? The possibilities are endless!

Jane Kano/Sabina Wilson (Charlie's Angels 2019)

Look. They're gay. They're so gay. Kristen Stewart is so funny in this movie, and my head couldn't stop thinking of these two together. There are so many avenues on where to go with this. Maybe they meet before the movie begins. What were they doing those 6 months between Sabina being pushed off a roof and them working together? What about post-movie with their Charlie's Angel's missions? What about Sabina's childhood growing up? Why was she in prison at one point?! How does this fit their dynamic as a couple?

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020)- 1 hr 50 min. on HBO max/other VOD sites

Helena Bertinelli/Dinah Lance (Birds of Prey 2020)

Helena you are so special to me. I love her in the comics as well, but this movie was just too funny (at the end especially), and I really dig her and Dinah together. Dinah looked at her with those *eyes* once in the entire movie but I couldn't help but get all giddy. Post canon is something I'm especially fond of. Feel free to include the whole cast! I'm all for more characters being involved.

Also, I don't mind whatever pairings you're into. As long as Helena and Dinah are together and at the forefront, I'm happy :)

Just a forewarning, this movie has a lot of violence. Especially violence/humiliation against women. But the Birds of Prey and Harley pretty much kick their asses by the end, so it's a favorite of mine.

NCIS: Sydney- 3 Seasons on Paramount Plus

Evie Cooper/DeShawn Jackson (NCIS: Sydney)

I love this silly little show. It's cliche. It's dramatic. It's got all the 'will they won't they' energy that I love from NCIS shows in general. I especially enjoy Evie Cooper and her relationship with DeShawn. Whether they're just friends or eventually lovers, their ambiguous relationship is something I'd love to have explored further. They're partners who joke around 24/7, but there's a bit of a spark there, I just know it.

Feel free to include other members of the team as well! Blue, Mackey, JD, Trigger and Rosie are all lovely characters, and I'd love to see them in the background/ a part of the story.

Nami & Roronoa Zoro (One Piece LA)

The two original members of the crew! These two have been around since the beginning of Luffy's journey and I love their relationship with one another. Carol & Kamala: Mentor and Mentee! My heart! The comics are disheartening with these two and refuse to allow them to have a healthy relationship. Not super helpful with prompts here, but I love these two and think their relationship could definitely be explored more, especially post- movie.

Carol & Monica: Did somebody say daughter???? Monica is essentially Carol's niece, but I head cannon her as Carol's adoptive daughter since Carol and Maria (Monica's mom) are hinted at being together. Was Carol a horrible "dad" who ran off and left Maria and Monica alone? Yes. All the more reason for them to actually talk about it. You don't need to know Monica or Carol's story besides what 'The Marvels' depicts. There are flashbacks and enough plot that carries over from other Avenger projects into this one, so don't fret!

Carol & Kamala & Monica: The Marvels!!!!!! These girls are my world. Feel free to mix and match or write/draw a work focused on them as a trio :)

Carol is an isolated space hero with a heart of gold and a past that haunts her while Brunnhilde is a space warrior that drinks to cope with her past and once hung out on a trash planet because she thought of herself as trash. They're messy, chaotic, and canonically friends. Best friends, even- and with that little kiss on a cheek, my Valcarol heart went wild. I also love the Carol & Kamala & Monica tag. The Marvels is my favorite movie and these three are so fun together! Found family is one of my favorites and Carol and Monica's relationship is particularly interesting. <3

Solo Carol Danvers is also fascinating, especially in regards to 'The Marvel's' movie. She's married to Prince Yan, a man who essentially runs a singing planet. She's softer, more unsure, and is more apologetic for her actions in the past in this movie than in Captain Marvel. Maybe explore that? She's crushed by her actions destroying the Supreme Intelligence. What are her nightmares like? Why does she avoid Valkyrie, her closest friend on Earth since Maria's death? What shenanigans to her and Goose get up to?

Okay hear me out, the Carol and Brunnhilde pairing was also nominated for this exchange by someone else, so I'm requesting it under MCU because it makes sense. What is Carol and Brunnhilde's relationship like taking out 'The Marvels' all together? How did they meet? Did they fight? Fuck? Were they drawn to each other as friends or did their bristly personalities clash?

For Solo Brunnhilde: she's got so much lore. I'd love something digging into her time on Sakaar, especially if the Kree (and Carol) make an appearance. How does she cope with nightmares? She's King of Asgard- what does that look like?

For Solo Carol (aka Solo Captain Marvel): same thing. She's got a history of trauma and missing memories. Her amnesia isn't going away any time soon, so how does she cope with that? Does Goose help? What was she doing during the snap????

Star Trek: Lower Decks: T'Lyn, Beckett Mariner

This show is everything to me and I especially love T'Lyn. She's Vulcan, she's hilarious, she's a girls' girl on the DL and she's complex. Lower Decks didn't explore her character as much as I would have liked, so anything with her at the forefront (her POV, her innermost thoughts, etc) is golden! I personally ship her with Mariner (I just love a good femslash) and their relationship (whether you prefer them as friends or more, your decision) is something I would love to read about. According to Mike McMahan, T'Lyn is pretty much the Vulcan equivalent of Mariner, which I think is so cool!

A Cinderella Story: Once upon a Song: Katie Gibbs, Ravi (Tony) Gupta, Victor Von Ravensway

Katie Gibbs has so much trauma and it should be explored! I love her relationship with Victor and how it grows/changes throughout the move. He's her brother/ ward and when he admits that he loves her, my heart exploded. Anything with these three, whether funny, sad, digging into character's histories, or whatever you're feeling would be wonderful.

(If you haven't seen the movie, it has Freddie Stroma as the lead love interest and he's so awkward and cute it's hilarious)

West Coast Avengers: America Chavez, Kate Bishop

Kate and America!!!!! Their relationship in the comics is everything to me. The way Kate loves her and considers her a best friend. How they interact and make jokes throughout the entire West Coast Avengers run. I also love the WCA team. They are my favorite out of all the comic teams (except for maybe YAs) so feel free to write about all of them! I also very much ship America and Kate, but if you'd rather write them as friends, that's AOK as well.

Femslash! Femslash! Femslash! I really enjoy La'an's character in the show so anything focused on her would be lovely. And I really don't have a solid ship I love for her so any of the listed ones work! Same for Christine. These two are my favorite SNW characters. For Worldbuilding, I think cocktail recipes or replicator recipes or regulations would be so much fun! Especially if it ties into canonical episodes. These are my favorite albums of all time. There is so much Ethel Cain lore that I'll link here: The dark story of Ethel Cain's Preacher's Daughter | The Stony Brook Press

Preacher's Daughter is a rich alt-rock release with intricate themes of religion and abuse and a southern gothic aesthetic. It's less an album and more a full cinematic universe or a horror film in 13 tracks: a fictional story that carries Ethel Cain through a life of trauma and, ultimately, to her death.

My favorite songs in this album are Family Tree, A House in Nebraska, Western Nights, Hard Times, Thoroughfare, Sun Bleached Flies, and Strangers, so a story/art/medium digging into the themes of one of these songs would be lovely. I'm also so interested in Ethel's internal thoughts and feelings as she descends into the darkness of California.

Other favorites of mine are "Nettles" which is in Hayden's newest album: Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You- if you're looking for more inspiration, as well as "Dust Bowl" which is also in the new album (TAKE A LISTEN IT'S SO GOOD I SWEAR). It's her dream of living with Willoughby and delves into loneliness, childhood, and falling in love. SO GOOD!

I love any type of art, collages, banners, etc... just getting into the vibes of the music and creating whatever it leads you to create <3
